Internal prison examinations since December have revealed similar symptoms among multiple inmates, with diagnoses ranging from allergic reactions to potential liver problems, though a qualified doctor has not examined Velishov. The sores on his body cause significant pain, and some have darkened.
He experiences discomfort due to spicy foods and adheres to a restricted diet, purchasing basic supplies at inflated prices within the facility. Velishov has also reported limited access to fresh air, despite regulations allowing inmates daily outdoor time. Previously, he described being handcuffed and beaten until unconscious, with similar treatment inflicted on a fellow prisoner.
Despite filing complaints with various government bodies, including the Justice Ministry and the Penitentiary Service, he has received no response. He anticipates a transfer to another prison on April 25th, expressing concern that he cannot survive in a closed environment.
