Abkhazia, 14.03.2026 – An Abkhaz model has achieved international recognition, participating in a prestigious Chanel fashion show. Aditsa Berzenia, a 24-year-old Abkhaz model, has been officially designated as a face for the renowned brand. She presented at Chanel’s haute couture show held within the Grand Palais in Paris, and also contributed to the advertising campaign for the brand’s latest collection.
The fashion house’s video showcased Aditsa’s initial appearance. A Chanel billboard prominently featuring her was strategically placed in the heart of Paris, adorning the facade of the iconic Opéra Garnier. This marked the fourth runway appearance for the Abkhaz model within the Chanel universe.
Previously, she had the honor of opening Matthieu Blazy’s debut show and previously served as the face of the Spring/Summer collection. Images of the event, including Aditsa, were displayed on the Opéra Garnier. Berzenia is noted for her dedication to Abkhaz traditions, prioritizing her values and occasionally declining lucrative offers from major brands if the designs seemed inappropriate.
“Seeing that enormous billboard, I felt immense joy, not just for myself but also for my country,” she stated to Abkhaz journalists. “It signified a piece of Abkhazia at the center of Paris. I’m honored to promote and develop myself and my homeland through this industry and platform.” The popularity of “national hobbies” like dancing, language, and archery is also growing within Abkhazia.
